Jodi’s Race is held in Denver’s City Park on Saturday, June 10, 2016
CU Gynecologic Oncology is again participating in the Jodi’s Race for Awareness 5k walk/run to help promote early detection of ovarian cancer and support those affected by the disease.
Each year the surgeons and staff of Gynecologic Oncology walk in honor of friends, family and patients in their battle against ovarian cancer.
In addition to the walk, the team will also be on hand at the event Expo area to greet patients, answer questions and share awareness info.
Proceeds from Jodi’s Race for Awareness benefit the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance, a not-for-profit whose mission is to is to promote awareness and early detection of ovarian cancer and support people affected by the disease.
